As a Licensed Master Aesthetician and owner of Mia June Facial Bar, Magen has been passionately dedicated to the skincare industry for over a decade. After earning her aesthetics license in Richmond, Virginia, she returned to her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, where she gained invaluable experience working alongside dermatologists and plastic surgeons.

While she loved her time in the clinical setting, Magen envisioned a different kind of skincare experience—one that was more relaxed, fun, and accessible. In August 2018, she brought that vision to life by creating Fancy Face , a facial bar, a place where clients could enjoy personalized, innovative facial services in a welcoming environment.

On August 4, 2020, she opened the doors to Fancy Face BHAM Facial Bar, introducing Birmingham to a fresh and unique facial spa experience. This exciting chapter allowed Magen to innovate further, expand her expertise, and pass her knowledge on to her dedicated team.

In January 2025, Magen embarked on a new chapter, rebranding her business to a name that could grow with them and stand out in the industry. While a trademarkable name was essential for future success, it was equally important to choose something that held a special place in her heart. And so, Mia June Facial Bar was born—a name that carries the same love, passion, and commitment that has always defined the brand.

As Mia June Facial Bar continues to grow, Magen remains committed to delivering the same innovative services and personalized care that clients have come to know and love. With exciting plans on the horizon, including an expansion to Oxford, Mississippi, in Spring 2025, Magen and her team are honored to be part of your skincare journey.
